General Information for All Patrons

Where to Purchase Tickets
Tickets for the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse may be purchased in person, by phone or online from this website. Please note that there is a small per ticket fee for online ticket transactions.

Methods of Payment
The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse accepts the following: Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard & Discover. At present, we do not accept American Express.

Refunds & Exchanges
All Ticket Sales are Final. Refunds and Single Ticket Exchanges are not permitted.

Please Plan to Arrive Early!
The theatre doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain time. To allow adequate time for seating, we recommend you plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to curtain. As a courtesy to fellow patrons and performers, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager and only at an appropriate break in the performance.

Restrooms
Restroom facilities are maintained by Emerson Park and are located just outside of the Theatre.

Smoking, Eating and Drinking are Prohibited
To ensure the safety and comfort of all Patrons, the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse prohibits smoking, eating or drinking inside the theatre building at all times. We reserve the right to confiscate and dispose of any food and drink items, including water bottles.

Cameras and Recording Devices are Strictly Prohibited
The use of cameras and audio or video recording devices is strictly prohibited at all times while inside the theatre. The theatre reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone with a camera or recording device.

Cellular Phones & Pagers
Patrons are asked to turn off cell phones and pagers. Be considerate of your fellow patrons and the performers.

Wheelchair / Handicap Seating
Handicap seating is available, but limited. Requests must be made at time of purchase.

Hearing Assistance Devices
Hearing Assist devices are available from the House Manager prior to the performance. An ID must be left as security against non-return.

Child Booster Seats
A limited number of child booster seats are available for our younger patrons. Please see the Box Office to obtain a Booster Seat.

For Subscribers Only!

Subscriber Exchange Policy
Only Subscribers are permitted to exchange their tickets. Exchanges must be made at least 24 hours prior to your ticketed performance and only for tickets to the same production.

Exchanging Your Subscription Seats
Call the Box Office at least 24 hours prior to your original performance to reschedule for another performance of the same show. Your exchanged tickets will be held for you at the door. We ask that you please bring your old tickets with you. Don't miss a performance - Please call!

Please note, seating is subject to availability. Seating location for exchanged tickets may not be the same as your regular subscription seats.

If you can't reschedule, you may release your seats to us for re-sale and receive their face value as a tax-deductible contribution. To take advantage of the contribution benefits, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance.


Group Policies - Updated for 2008

Reservation & Seating Information
All Group reservations must be made by phone. Reservations are not confirmed until receipt of contract and initial seat deposit, which must be received within 45 days of booking. The Merry-Go-Round will not hold reservations beyond 45 days without a signed contract and paid initial deposit.

Seats are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. A seating chart will only be provided after the receipt of contact and initial deposit as seating is not quarenteed until that time. Seating arrangements within the group are solely the responsibility of the group leader.

Handicap & Limited Mobility Seating is limited and arrangements for such seating must be made at time of reservation. The theatre can not make accomodations once your group has arrived at the theatre. If your needs change after you've confirmed your reservation, contact the Group Sales Office immediately and we will make every attempt to accomodate your request.

Deposit & Payment Information
All payments, once processed, are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

A $25 processing fee is required for each group booking and must accompany the initial seat deposit and signed contract within 45 days of booking.

One complimentary ticket is provided to each group as a courtesy for your group's leader or coordinator.

A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required at approximately 60 days prior to your performance by the due date specified (see chart below). Final payment and confirmation of ticket quantity are required at approximately 30 days prior to your performance by the due date specified (see chart below). Ticket reservations unpaid by the specified due dates will be released for resale and result in the forfeiture of all deposits.

Final group size determines per ticket price. Tickets purchased less than 30 days prior to performance will be charged at full ticket price.

Payments may be made by check, check by phone, money order or credit card. Merry-Go-Round welcomes Visa, Mastercard and Discover Cards. At this time, we do not accept American Express.

All sales are final. Refunds for unused tickets are not available.

Arrival at the Theatre
Buses are asked to arrive at the theatre 30 minutes before curtain. Groups arriving less than 10 minutes prior to curtain will not be seated until intermission.

There is a Bus Parking Fee of $20 at Emerson Park. A Parking Voucher, to be presented at the gate, will be supplied to the Group Leader for the Parking Fee.

Groups not met by a MGR representative should have the escort or group leader check in at the box office before your group leaves the bus.


Redeeming Gift Certificates or Gift Subscriptions

Gift Certificates and Gift Subscriptions are good for any Evening or Matinee performance as chosen by the recipient. To redeem a Gift Certificate or Gift Subscription, the bearer must either visit or contact the Box Office by phone.

Gift Certificates and Gift Subscriptions do not guarantee specific performance times or seating. Seating is subject to availability at time of redemption.

A Gift Subscription entitles the bearer to one ticket to each of the four productions during the indicated Musical Theatre Series. Gift Subscriptions are treated as any other subscription with all rights and privileges thereof. It is recommended that all Gift Subscriptions be redeemed prior to the opening of the first show of the season.

Gift Certificates entitle the bearer to the indicated number of tickets to any one performance during the indicated Musical Theatre Season.

Tickets will be held for you at the Box Office. Please, bring your certificates with you as they are required to obtain tickets.
